Oh boy, I'll start thinking of some ideas for buildings. This is how I think us working together will look.

I am totally willing to help with building. After all the help I got with the tower project, how could I not want to help with the city?

What kind of city are you going for? Modern city or olden town?

Modern. I wont be able to start for a week or two. I saw a ton of videos online, what I was thinking is build some high rise buildings, then around it would be urban areas. (Just like real cites?)

Yes! But if it were to be high rise, we would have to clear out the map to the bottom; at least a section of it. We would have to make it far away.

Hmm... Well I don't really want to start working on the city when 1.9 is about to come out and 2.0(Or whatever comes out on 11/11/11) because we are going to lose the world. =/

I wouldn't mind working on a "Gate World" but that would be kinda up to Spikey.

I wouldn't mind keeping worlds, but the terrain generation keeps changing. I'm not saying we should nuke the current world (in fact, I'm working on making bukkit work so we can have multi-world support), but I, personally, have no qualms with starting over, especially with a brand new seed and whatnot.

Fending for ourselves is always the best part. After we're all set up, things start to get boring ;P

You guys should try playing nomad style, where you never sleep in the same dwelling twice. It adds a lot more challenge.

If that wasn't specifically more than ONCE, I would be down for that.

But you have to realise, that requires sticking together, and not leaving anyone behind. Most of us are in different timezones, and have... lives (LOL). No way we can guarantee the group will always be online at the same time.

The closest we got to this was when Razor, Dragon and I went out on an exploration mission..

On an unrelated note, but related to the thread, I think I'm going to rebuild all of one of the lighthouses from Golden Sun on single player. EVERYTHING. Unless it requires uber-redstone wiring, I'll build it. Oh, and the elevators won't work. Any thoughts on which one? It's almost for sure Venus, that's second easiest to Mercury. Mars would be overkill, and Jupiter would be unnavigable.

And when Dragon died, we were stuck for more than a few hours.

It was the first time a mushroom house was used on the server, those trips.
